We’re excited to share that Interplay Accelerator portfolio company Pointer Health has closed a new round of funding, supporting the company’s mission to transform veterinary care. Founded by Anna Agnello and Alan Millan, Pointer Health is bringing true precision medicine to dogs, using causal AI to help veterinarians make smarter, proactive decisions that improve health outcomes and extend lifespans. This new funding will accelerate product development, expand clinic partnerships, and bring their innovative platform to more pets and veterinarians nationwide.

The round also includes Jon Ayers, former CEO of IDEXX and a longtime leader in veterinary diagnostics. His involvement brings both validation and strategic insight. Jon’s experience scaling technology in the animal health industry, championing preventative care, and understanding the operational challenges veterinarians face makes him a valuable partner as Pointer expands. This type of support underscores the potential of Pointer’s causal AI to advance proactive, data-driven veterinary care.
