New Studio Partner: Andy Bilinsky

We’re excited to announce that we have a new Partner at Interplay. Andy Bilinsky has joined us to lead our Studio.

Formerly referred to as our Foundry, our Studio is the division of Interplay that builds new companies from scratch. We come up with ideas internally, diligence them hard and when we can’t kill them…we build them. We partner with outstanding CEOs to cofound these new ventures.

The Studio has had a lot of success. Ultimately 12 ventures have achieved product-market fit, roughly 1,000 jobs have been created, and five companies have exited. It’s been a wonderful journey to-date, but it was time to bring in a Partner to oversee the operation. We believe that under Andy’s leadership the Studio will scale to its capacity to support existing portfolio companies and create new companies more rapidly going forward.

Andy has an impressive background - we feel strongly that he’s the right person for the job. He’s built and sold two companies successfully. He not only understands the operational and emotional journey of entrepreneurship, but also has deep knowledge of demand generation techniques. We believe his depth in sales & marketing will be a critical compliment to many of the founding teams he advises.
