(Studio - 01)

We partner with existing early-stage companies to help them succeed and scale.

We’re hands-on. We take a focused approach to incubation, working with a relatively small number of companies at once. As a founder you’ll be able to leverage our knowledge, platform and connections to accelerate your growth.

"I felt like I had a really intimate connection with the Interplay team. It was almost like we had mentorship that was personalized rather than just being part of a big class."

"Interplay was able to bring to the table tech expertise. As a result, we were able to build my website and my store, which is really unlike anything else in the marketplace."

Q&A

No. The program is very hands-on and entirely customized to the needs of each company. If accelerators are a classroom, this is private tutoring.

We’re looking for potential - great teams and a great vision that need help getting their business to the next level. As a result, we only accept ~0.2% of applicants to maintain a high standard that matches the bespoke program.

Partner Track: One of the partners at Interplay will be personally assigned to your company. They will define a handful of specific objectives that they feel are crucial for your company’s success and personally work with you to see them through. It’s hands-on-blocking-and-tackling to set you up to scale.

‍Education Track: We will also put you through a personalized executive education program designed to give you the basic operational skills you will need to grow your business: accounting, fundraising, legal, marketing, outsourcing, etc. This will be done through a series of one-on-one meetings with CEOs of companies actively operating in these spaces.

‍Entrepreneur In Residence: The CEO of the company will receive the title of EIR at Interplay during the course of the program.

‍Perks: You’ll get access to a suite of program perks worth more than $250K, including credits & discounts at Amazon Web Services, Chelsea Capital, HubSpot, IBM, Intercom, Magic, MixPanel, Spoke, Twilio, Venwise, ZenDesk and others.

Typically three months. Note that we don't do classes of companies; companies start the program on their own schedule and the program is entirely customized to each company.

No. The program is remote with regularly scheduled video meetings with Interplay partners and advisors.

There is no cash cost, but if you’re accepted into the program we typically ask for a 5% equity position in your company. The equity position may vary if companies are at different stages of development.

The incubator does not provide capital as part of the program, but our venture fund reserves the right to participate in future fundraising rounds.
