Building the Future of Resale with Relist

At Interplay, we spend a lot of time looking for founders who are solving problems that everyone in an industry knows exist — but few have figured out how to tackle in a practical, scalable way. Relist is one of those companies.

We’re excited to share that the Interplay Accelerator has invested in Relist, founded by Maneesh Karnati, Ben Leitner, and Ben Tatsuoka, a team building a platform that helps fashion brands participate in resale without taking on the complexity of running a marketplace or managing inventory.

Resale is already happening around every brand. Customers resell items they can’t return, no longer want, or simply don’t wear, often on third-party marketplaces like eBay, Poshmark and Depop where brands have no visibility, data, or upside. Relist flips that dynamic. Relist allows brands to give customers a one-click way to sell past purchases across major resale marketplaces, using pre-filled product details and images. What’s traditionally been a frustrating, manual process becomes simple for the customer — and valuable for the brand.

Even at this early stage, Relist is already working with multiple enterprise fashion brands, reinforcing what we’re hearing across the industry: resale is happening and brands want a brand-safe, low-lift way to engage with it. Relist’s approach, integrating seamlessly with existing resale marketplaces rather than trying to replace them, is a simple solution that’s easy to implement.

What stood out most to us was the team behind the product. Maneesh, Ben, and Ben bring a thoughtful, systems-level understanding of consumer behavior, brand economics, and the operational realities of fashion. They help brands see resale not as a side project or a sustainability checkbox, but as core infrastructure that can drive revenue, retention, and longer-term customer relationships. That perspective shows up clearly in how they build, prioritize, and work with brands.

Backing founders who are tackling meaningful problems in large, high-growth markets is important to us here at Interplay. Relist sits at the intersection of commerce, sustainability, and customer experience — and we believe it’s becoming an increasingly important layer as brands rethink product lifecycle, and loyalty.
